It gives you the opportunity to try out a few of the most popular sports such as Skateboarding, Surfing, Skating, BMX, Frisbee and Foot bag in one single game!
With unique and beautiful graphics and concept California Games is the one game you can't ignore! This is a game with a good variety of stunts and tricks which is so addictive and perfect you should be playing it right now.
To top it all California Games offers a multi player mode where up to eight players can join. Each player gets to choose a name together with a sponsor, there are nine different companies to choose from. When everybody is ready you have to choose the events you want to play. You can play all, just a few or only one if you want. On each event you have the option to do a practice round or view the current high score stored in the database.
The Skateboarding event takes you to a half-pipe where you have to complete as many stunts you possibly can within a time limit. If you choose the Surfing event you have to control a board and ride the incoming waves. As with the Skateboarding event you have to do as many tricks as you possibly can within a time limit. Our next event is BMX riding, here you are on a bicycle on a scrolling course and similar to the other events you have to perform as many stunts you can during a time limit. Skating is very similar to BMX riding in that way that you are moving on a scrolling course but this time you control one of the lovely California girls. Next is Frisbee where you have to control both the throwing and catching. The last but not least event is the Foot Bag where you need to be able to kick on a small foot bag and perform as many tricks you can.
A few of these events, BMX, Skateboarding, Frisbee, gives you the chance to crash three times until the event is over. If you manage to break a record your name will shown on the high score and you get the change of upgrading your skills within BMX riding, Surfing or Foot bag.
I don't think I can stress this enough, California Games is a superb game with lots of good graphics and animation, likable sound and events. If you haven't try this game, you should and you will be stuck for hours and hours! This is one of the very top games!
