Play the Game! Wow, this website has games from decades ago! It's rather extensive and precisely exciting. I was daydreaming the other day and I had thought about elementary school. I was thinking about all the computer lab days and the different variety of games we had to choose from as wee tots. Somehow it made me think of the game "Treasure Mountain."
It brought back memories from when I was in fourth grade. I remember waking up and coming to school, looking for friends, and then waiting anxiously for the morning bell to ring so I could go to my homeroom class and prepare for computer lab day; which was occasionally scheduled on a Tuesday. I enjoyed computer-lab day because we played math games. To whomever this may concern, I am most certainly not fond of mathematics, trust me. I just enjoyed this game consisting of little elves trotting through the white, crystallized snow on their way to a mountain full of treasures.
Firstly, the elves had a fanny pack or net they carried to gather small items, then, of course they would bring them to a warehouse and cash them in for certain treasured items. Some were sparkly gemstones, others were rare findings. The portly elves would then cash in or then rather trade what they needed and be on their merry way. This game was one of my favorites back in elementary school. I still cannot believe it’s being sold or for that matter, displayed on any websites. I hope to have this game on my computer very soon so I can play it and reminisce old school computer lab days.
It has been so long since I have played this game, I forgot how "Treasure Mountain" had ended. I cannot remember if the elves ever got to the mountain or if they died on the way. Many people I have discussed this game to, do not remember it at all. I find that rather hard to believe. I need it now! Oh but I digress, please forgive me, for I have my children to attend to.
