Bonkheads provides hours and hours of gaming fun. It is one of the most entertaining games released in the mid-90s.
The goal of the game is to kill pests like raccoons, bees, snakes, etc. in the different “worlds” in the game. You can choose to play as Grag or as Thog. You can control your character and make it move left or right and even make it jump to bonk different platforms in each level. The pests are released from the top of the screen and they walk towards the end of the top platform and they fall to the next platform. The pests will keep walking and falling to the platform below.
To kill the pests you must bonk them. You can’t actually bonk the creatures themselves. You also can’t jump on them or over them. You hit them through the platforms they are standing on. By hitting the platform where the pest is on, you will knock out the creature then you can kick the creature off the screen. It is very similar to Mario Bros where you hit the little turtle-like creatures on top of the platforms and swipe them off. You must kill all the pests so that you can move on to the next level. You will also need to kill off bosses; you can do this by repeatedly bonking them.
The graphics is pretty impressive with colorful backgrounds and fun-looking characters. The music adds to the game’s excitement. The controls are very easy to learn and you will need just a few minutes to get a grasp of the gameplay and then you will find yourself seated in front of your PC playing for at least an hour. There is no reason for you not to like this game. Not only will you enjoy the game, it is very likely that you will become addicted to it.
This game has more than 100 levels which are sure to provide you with the thrill you are seeking from video games. The levels become progressively harder. The number of levels is just perfect to provide you hours of gaming fun for a long time. This is the kind of game that you will never get tired of and just keep coming back to.
This is a game that many more future generations will discover and enjoy. This game should have been a much bigger success than it was. To prove my point, you can download your copy , begin to experience pure fun and feel for yourself what I am talking about!
