The game itself is utterly fantastic. The controls are unbelievably good; all you need is arrow keys and a shoot button. So easy to pick up and start playing against the Real Madrid's, AC Milan's and the like. You can play as virtually anyone in the world. From top class international sides (Brazil, France), low class international sides (Canada, New Zealand) top quality club sides (Manchester United, Real Madrid) to the low sides (Mansfield and Notts County). No disrespect to either Mansfield or Notts County, but you could play as virtually anyone.
The graphics are colorful and bright! The game play is also very good. Twenty seasons managing your favorite team in the career mode, feeling the highs and the lows. It was like actually winning the European Champions League at times. Buying players were realistic for the time. Feeling the pain when the top notch striker gets injured at the most crucial point in the season. The agony of losing is on the last day of the season. It is all in the career mode, the best bit about the entire game.
The controls, I have touched on it briefly is indeed nice and great. Everyone has a keyboard and mouse on their computer. You don't need any flashy £50 steering wheel and peddles or joystick. Press longer for more power, and use the left and right arrows to add curl, as if you were David Beckham. It is probably the best soccer simulator. It gets 10 out of 10. You need playing it and you’ll be satisfied and entertaining!
