Even though the graphics are outdated in this game they are still very good with lots of realism. Sound effects are good as well so you can hear the announcers and all the grunts and groans of the players.
There are a couple of different options on how you would like to play, with another person or against the computer. I like the second one much better. The teams are real NFL teams with their real players and stats from the nineties that are. With Tom Landry Strategy Football there are certain features to keep in mind like home field advantage, stadium weather conditions and a cool fatigue factor after all your QB needs to rest as well as your big old linebacker, too much running, tackling and passing can cause injuries if you aren’t careful.
Like I mentioned before Tom Landry Strategy Football is graphically realistic and so are the plays it is easy to get caught up in being the best coach you can be. You can also scout teams out before you decide if that team is for you so you can see their weaknesses and strengths and that helps you when playing that team as an opponent as well. The stat keeper in this game is pretty awesome so learn to use it to your advantage.
