Alright, I currently played Beavis and Butthead for PC. Even though the graphics and idea of the game are lacking a little, it is actually a pretty entertaining game. For those of you sitting at home with not a whole lot to do, this may be the perfect game for you. No saying that Beavis and Butthead does not appeal to everyone, but I would say it appeals more so to those of a younger age. With tons of pointless smashing and bizarre levels, it is not exactly a hardcore pc gamers’ paradise. I believe that the programmers do an excellent job of making the levels come to life with several hidden items and a true plot to follow.
The more and more I played this game, the more I realized that it was a pretty big waste of time. Based on the old show Beavis and Butthead though, one would only expect that it would be a very stupid game. I do however like that they tried to keep it as much like the television show as possible, without taking a whole different route with the characters. You still get the entertaining laughs that made Beavis and Butthead what they are today.
And on top of that you get to control them through several mishaps, problems, and troubles. Somehow, if you play your cards right and follow all the signs right you will make it through every scenario alive. I would tell everyone out there that is thinking about playing this game, that you must be ready for crude humor, random enemies, lots of craziness and just a good ole fashioned time with the two that brought you so many laughs when you were younger.
I would not tell my father to sit down and play this game, however I would tell my little brother about it. In fact when my little brother was watching me play, I believe he was almost more into it than I was, and I was the one playing. Between the farts and the dumb laughs though, this game manages to touch the hearts of those playing it. It reminded me a lot of the better side-view games of our time, such as Ninja Turtles, Kindom Hearts, and several other well put-together games.
So I would say that in conclusion this game is worth downloading, but not purchasing, unless you have a crazy obsession with computer games that make you wonder why you are even playing them.
