Albion is an adventurous role playing game for many ages. You are exploring a new world while trying to locate a ship called Toronto. The world that you are searching for your ship in those has a very unexpected inhabitance of many alien life forms. You are trying to get to the Toronto ship before the AI guiding your ship blows up this world, killing everything living on it. You best not trust anyone in this game; they may turn out being the ones killing you.
The game has a turned based combat, which is played on a 2D 6x6 grid, allowing the actual animation only occurring in 3D. The 3D mode also occurs throughout the villages and dungeons, so you aren’t being cut short you are still getting some good graphics throughout the game. With the navigation being done with your mouse, it makes it easy to move around and just a simple click to interact with items throughout the game.
With a game that is originally created in Germany, the language transformation to English was well done. You wouldn’t even know it was originally in the German language, which shows how well put together this game actually is. Albion was a very well created and thought out game. Which allows more players to want to sit and play. With the large amount of story line in this game, it is best to converse with others to make the game go more smoothly. With the capability of casting magical spells all the unexpected encounters with the alien life forms makes the game go to the next level. You have the option to do different things in battle allowing you to strategize in your own way.
This game is an all around well thought out game. With the ability to execute the game at your own pace and have many unexpected experiences, you will never get tired of what’s going to happen next. The mysterious aspects of this game allow you to want to sit and play for hours. You want to know what is going to happen next, are you going to get to Toronto and get off this planet before it’s too late. Albion is a superb game in many ways. The story in itself makes this game worthwhile.
