Barbarian, what a classic. Yes its old school. But its old school ultimate chop chop battle mode. I love the old games such as these. The relatively slow movement and game reaction to your key presses. It really makes for a good warrior when you have to plan for such slow reactions. Chopping off the head is great. I’m just a little sad I am getting a little old and one day this game will not be available anywhere. Thank God for the internet and such older users as me. The classics rule. All these new games look the part and have good game play but after you get the hang of them it becomes a little easy.
Barbarian is different every time like all games in this era. You really never know if you are going to win each time. All new games come with cheats, and I know for a fact that 99% of users use them and actually defeat themselves. Computer games are a great source of hand eye co-ordination. If you play them as they are originally meant to. Cheats just ruin it for everyone. No cheats on barbarian. That I know of course. I wouldn't even look for any. There is never any fun in cheating. Sure its fun for a couple of days but gets boring very quickly and then you need a new game. Not the old school game like barbarian though. Its old and its rough. But still is and always will be fun and amusing. Chop chop. I love slicing up opposition. Who needs flips and magic powers like new games? We just want an old school fight to the death. No trickery. Just weapons as it was in the older days.
I give barbarian a 9-10 for sure. Yes it’s old, but who cares. My generation loves the challenge of old games and we will continue to play them as long as we deem fit and are able to. So get on here and play it, download it. Do whatever you need to do, just play it and see what I mean. Release your mind and use it. No cheating aye. Just get in there and chop chop. Slice his head off, and his arm and his legs. Barbarian rules and I am hanging to play it right now.
So, just hurry up and download it, you will not be disappointed. But obviously do not expect too much for its age. Just get in there and go go go.
