iv downloaded hired guns , which id forgotten even exsisted , but iv just got this rar file .what do i do with it??

RAR is an archive type , similar to the now popular ZIP . Typically , any archive manager that knows how to handle ZIP will also open RARs . Just apply such a manager to the downloaded file , choose extract location and it will open the game files , ready to install .

| You can also download for free the RAR tool. It has a 40 day trail period, but you can still use it past that time to unpack files. |
