after unzipping the file i click on the exe and the game starts up but then a few seconds after it starts up a message comes up and say that it has generated errors and will be closing. i have tried dosbox but it says it doesnt use dosbox and i can use vdm sound so is there some setting i need to change or any suggestions please let me know thanks

VDMSound and Dosbox are for DOS games only. IS1 is a windows game, so you either need to:
a) get a hold of a hard-disk/partition/machine with W9x and try there
b) use a full machine emulator/virtulizator like quemu, vmware, virtualpc etal, and install an old windows there, then install the game once you have the virtual machine fully setep up. |

| well to get back on what the topic was about in the first place, i still am having problems with the game, it starts up goes to the title screen with music as well but it still closes down with that error, also i am having trouble loading the love potion game. i would really like to play both these games so could someone with some helpful suggestions plz let me know thankyou |

I've gotten Love Potion to work with VDMS sound, although it wasn't worth the trouble...horrid game, even the pics are substandard fare. Nice avy though, littleshadow.
And, once again, the ONLY WAY to run ISL1:RS is to PARTITION your Hard Drive and INSTALL WIN 95 in the new partition, allowing for a dual boot. I repeat, that is the ONLY RELIABLE WAY to run it on a newer comp. Good Day.
