Fable

I tried running Fable with DosBox. I get the title screen, then about 30 seconds after starting a new game, it seizes...any suggestions?

Here is how you do it:
- The game will freeze in DOSBox, unless you enhance the cycles to 6000+ (CTRL+F12)!
- When the game starts for the first time, there will be no visible dialogues. This is because the game is meant to include speech. So, in order to show the dialogues as text you need to press Enter to get into the Game Options. Then just restart the game, and you'll see the dialogue from the first scene. |

SOD- I'm going to add that to the how to run section of Fable (when I find it), if you don't mind. A few points for your trouble as well.

| Ok.. I followed the instructions and I get just the boy's dialogue but not the man's... and I don't get their voices either.. what am I missing? |

| Hum...I don't know if the download file includes the voices, to reduce the size. I will...hum...see if I can get an answer to that and might be able to add the voice package up for download too! |

Okay Ladyx! The moment I get home I will upload a working copy for you! I have the original game at home so you will be able to play this great game. You just have to hang on for a few hours!
